University of Florida Threatens to Kick Out Students Partying with Jersey Shore Crew
An official from the University of Florida sent out an email to the students at the school's study abroad program in Florence threatening to oust anyone caught partying with Jersey Shore cast members. That sounds a little harsh.
As you may know, the show is currently filming its fourth season with the cast in their spiritual homeland, Italy. The email said, "any student who does agree to participate in the filming of the show, or who signs a waiver or legal agreement of any sort with MTV, will be dismissed from the program immediately." Damn! Asking college kids not to party is sort of like asking The Situation not to show off his abs.
After TMZ published the email, a representative from the university reversed the decision. "Students may participate in activities outside their Study Abroad program as long as they meet the academic and living requirements of that program," the rep said. Well, considering that Jersey Shore is the most important sociological experiment of our time, getting an opportunity to examine the guido's behavior in the wild certainly must meet the academic requirements of... something!
