Facebook's co-founder CEO might be 11 years younger than Google's co-founder CEO, with a company half as old, but he's got about $2.4 billion on the guy. Mark Zuckerberg just became the country's richest person under 40.

Zuckerberg's paper wealth of $19.1 billion has just surpassed that of Google's co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, who are worth about $16.7 billion, according to the new Forbes list of richest Americans. He's also ahead of Apple CEO Steve Jobs ($7 billion) but behind Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates ($59 billion) and Oracle founder Larry Ellison ($33 billion). Anyway, if you want a clear symbol of Google missing an entire wave of internet development — social networking — this is it. And while Google Plus is nice, it's not going to dethrone Zuck on this list any time soon. (Or ever, probably.)
