This just in: Indiana state Rep. Bob Morris has "gone viral" for a sending a ranting letter to fellow Republican lawmakers warning that the Girl Scouts of America is "making their daughters more receptive to the pro-abortion agenda." He wrote it in an attempt to stop a resolution celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts.

After "a small amount of web-based research," Morris discovered that Girl Scouts of America is in cahoots with Planned Parenthood and a "radically pro-abortion" Michelle Obama. Girl Scouts "promote homosexual lifestyles." A list of 50 Girl Scout role models included "only three [with] briefly-mentionied religious background—all the rest are femnists, lesbians, or Communists." He ends his treatise with a vow to yank his daughters from their Girl Scouts troop and enroll them in "American Heritage Girls Little Flowers organization" instead.

After a small amount of web-based research, I'm pretty sure "American Heritage Girls Little Flowers organization" is something he just invented. (It's an amalgamation of two separate groups' names.)

"I guess he's entitled to his opinion," a fellow legislator who is herself a former Girl Scout commented. "They are out selling cookies, not sex and abortions."
