Finger-pointing Arizona governor Jan Brewer made double headlines today by endorsing Mitt Romney and turning down an invitation from President Barack Obama. Yep, that'll do it.

Brewer went on NBC's Meet the Press to publicly endorse "pro-business" candidate Romney.

"I think he's the man who is going to carry the day and I'm going to work as hard as I know how to see that he wins," Brewer said on NBC's "Meet the Press" program Sunday. Romney "would serve America best of all the candidates," she said.

It probably doesn't hurt that Romney has also pledged to stop legislation against Brewer's controversial 2010 immigration law — you know, the one that lets police officers ask foreign-looking people for their papers.

In other Jan Brewer news, the governor also revealed that she will not be attending Obama's dinner for the nation's governors. But it's not personal: it's just business.

"I would not disrespect the President of the United States," Brewer said. "I have other commitments."

Well, that's settled. Regardless of what she says, however, every article about Brewer and Obama will feature that photo of her sticking her finger in his face. Readers are welcome to draw their own conclusions.
