If you love Elvis, chances are you'd love the chance to own the private crypt that once housed his corpse.

OK, maybe not, but you can own it, if you're willing to outbid the competition. Next month, the crypt will be auctioned off with a starting bid of $100,000. That's a steep price and it's likely to get much higher — but let's take a look at what you're getting.

The winner will get to witness the opening and closing of the vault, and can actually be buried there, complete with memorial inscription. (Remember that Elvis is currently interred at Graceland, so you won't actually be posthumously spooning.) And, if you're feeling really weird and morbid, you can use the vault for a commitment ceremony. (EDIT: This was a misread — the committal is just the being buried there. Sorry, romantics.)

President of Julien's Auctions Darren Julien is excited to offer this unique lot.

I just consider that if you're an ultimate fan of Elvis Presley, it's an opportunity. It's definitely a conversation piece. Only one person can say, 'Hey, I'm going to be buried where Elvis Presley was.'

You call that a conversation piece. I call it a conversation ender.

But hey, if you have at least $100,000 to spare and a deep appreciation of the King, why not opt for an eternal resting place that Elvis once decayed in. Go ahead, impress your dead friends.
