Ever wondered what New York City's subways and train stations would look like after some sort of apocalyptic event? Well, the photos on the MTA's Flickr page right now give you a good idea.
In case you don't know why they're closed (and have spent the past 48 hours in some sort of newsless bubble), public transportation in NYC was shut down today at 7 p.m. in anticipation of flooding from Hurricane Sandy/the Frankenstorm. So far, there's been no damage reported, aside from fallout from a possible mayoral boner.
