Armed McDonald's Manager Holds Up His Own Restaurant
Police in California say a local McDonald's manager has confessed to robbing two McDonald's restaurants at gunpoint — including his very own branch.
Felix Gonzalez-Becerra, 42, of Oakland was fleeing his second robbery in a week when police pulled him over and arrested him.
According to investigators, Gonzalez-Becerra admitted to holding up both a San Mateo McDonald's on September 2nd and his own Pleasanton restaurant a few days earlier.
In the latter incident, Gonzalez-Becerra allegedly drove up to the drive thru window and used a "small-caliber handgun" to order employees into the store's freezer.
He then proceeded to make off with an unspecified amount of money.
Gonzalez-Becerra was booked into San Mateo county jail on multiple counts of robbery and kidnapping — charges to which he later pleaded not guilty.
