Here's eight minutes of footage from Jimmy Fallon's audition on the Saturday Night Live stage. In it, the 24-year-old does an array of impressions that range from Chris Rock to Adam Sandler. It's actually pretty darn impressive.

Emboldened, one imagines, by the successful internet campaign to have actress Betty White host Saturday Night Live, famous cookie monster Cookie Monster has started his own SNL-hosting campaign with this audition tape, complete with a cookie Lady Gaga.

Here's the latest release from Sesame Street's YouTube channel—a tape of Cookie Monster auditioning to be a cast member on Saturday Night Live. Who knew that he had a passion beyond cookies?

These guys sure thought they knew what it would take to play a ninja in a movie but they didn't. Unfortunate and embarrassing for them, but awesome for us.
