Bill O'Reilly Blames Liberals for England's Riots

Matt Cherette · 08/10/11 11:15PM

What does the rioting in England have to do America's economic problems? Not much, but that certainly didn't stop Bill O'Reilly from making a connection between the two on the Factor tonight by suggesting both were products of "the liberal mindset." Then some random blonde lady with a bad spray-on tan started shouting and things went even further downhill. A clip of the segment is above.

Brian Moylan · 08/09/11 02:46PM

You know that actors, reality show hosts, and network news anchors make tons of cash, right? But just how much do they make? And who makes more than their fellow stars on shows? And why is Ashton Kutcher the highest paid actor on TV? Let's find out.

Bill O'Reilly and Expert Agree: Murdoch Coverage is a Liberal Witch Hunt

Seth Abramovitch · 07/20/11 01:31AM

Fox News's stunningly even-handed coverage of Rupert Murdoch's Barbasol-smeared troubles continues with The O'Reilly Factor. Host Bill O'Reilly prodded Tuesday night's yespert — that would be Nile Gardiner, Ph.D. — to back up his assertion that the widespread attention the case is receiving in the U.S. is fueled by the media's radical left agenda:

Are Bill O'Reilly and His Wife Living Separately?

John Cook · 06/02/11 05:44PM

Online data miner and private investigator Joseph Culligan has noticed something curious: Bill O'Reilly's wife Maureen McPhilmy purchased a new house about a year ago, just down the street from the Long Island home she's shared with Bill-o since 2002. O'Reilly still owns the old one. And Fox News isn't saying whether they still live together.

Bill O'Reilly: Kim Kardashian Is a 'Pinhead'

Matt Cherette · 05/26/11 09:55PM

When Bill O'Reilly began his rant about Kim Kardashian tonight by describing her as someone who became "very famous in America for pretty much doing nothing"—which is actually a true statement for once!—you knew it wasn't going to end well for Kim. It didn't, as O'Reilly then blasted Kardashian for strutting around with a $2 million engagement ring.

Bill O'Reilly: Half of the World's Muslims Don't Want Democracy or Human Rights

Matt Cherette · 05/19/11 10:07PM

At the end of a discussion about President Obama's Middle East policy address on tonight's Factor, Bill O'Reilly explained the "Muslim problem" thusly: "For every Muslim in the world that wants democracy and wants human rights, there's one who doesn't, and the one who doesn't doesn't have any rules and will blow the hell out of the one who does." So great news, Muslims: You have a 50% chance of Bill O'Reilly's approval.

Jon Stewart to Bill O'Reilly: I'd Vote Against Obama

Matt Cherette · 05/17/11 08:40PM

On tonight's Factor, Bill O'Reilly aired his second interview with Jon Stewart in as many days. After having Stewart opine on the array of 2012 Republican candidates, O'Reilly asked him to grade President Obama. And guess what? Stewart's not completely sold on the commander-in-chief.

The Best Parts of Bill O'Reilly and Jon Stewart's Debate

Matt Cherette · 05/17/11 01:17AM

After receiving an invitation from Bill O'Reilly to appear on his show and debate whether or not the rapper Common should have been invited to a poetry reading at the White House, Jon Stewart showed up tonight as promised and attempted to interject some logic into the controversy. And because we would never expect you to suffer through an entire episode of the Factor yourself, here are the best four minutes of O'Reilly and Stewart's debate.

Bill O'Reilly Wants to Debate Jon Stewart Over Evil Rapper Common

Matt Cherette · 05/12/11 10:19PM

Conservatives were up in arms this week after the White House invited the rapper Common to participate in a poetry event. Last night, Jon Stewart showcased how Fox News pundits have distorted the issue with their "Common is a dangerous rapper who defends cop killers!" narrative. It looks like the faux controversy will go on another day: On tonight's Factor, Bill O'Reilly—who "fought the good fight years ago against gangsta rappers years ago"—struck back at Stewart and challenged him to a debate.

Hamilton Nolan · 03/18/11 02:28PM

In your lovely Friday media column: HuffPo dares its unpaid writers to do something, James O'Keefe is a hypocrite, a magazine investor has some magazines you can invest in, Bill O'Reilly is mad, and free NYTimes.com access, for you.

Ann Coulter to Bill O'Reilly: 'Radiation Is Actually Good for You'

Matt Cherette · 03/17/11 08:29PM

On tonight's Factor, Bill O'Reilly welcomed controversial conservative talking head Ann Coulter on to discuss the nuclear crisis currently unfolding in Japan. For some reason, Coulter—pretty adamantly—wanted to let us know that radiation is good for us!
