Elisabeth Hasselbeck: Book Thief?

Richard Lawson · 06/23/09 11:57AM

Potential plagiarist, at least! When author Susan Hassett sent her book Living with Celiac Disease to screechingest View hostess Hasselbeck, perhaps she was seeking some advice or PR. Instead, Hasselbeck published her own similarly-themed book a year later.

Whoopi Goldberg to Glenn Beck: 'You're a Lying Sack of Dog Mess'

The Cajun Boy · 05/20/09 06:51PM

Glenn Beck, Fox News' resident Barnumesque dildo, was a guest on The View today, and, predictably, things became contentious on set, even more so because of a bullshit story about an encounter with Whoopi and Babs that Beck recently peddled on his radio show, so Whoopi went off on him.

Another Trip to Rehab for Lindsay?

cityfile · 04/16/09 06:03AM

• Is Lindsay Lohan heading back to rehab? That's what her mother, relatives, and friends are supposedly encouraging her to do, since she's been on a "self-destructive binge of partying, tears and breakdowns" ever since Sam Ronson broke up with her. To make matters worse, she keeps bumping into Sam everywhere she goes. Clearly, the girls need to decide once and for all which one's getting Chateau Marmont so this sort of thing stops happening. [OK!, L&S, P6]

• "Real Housewife" Jill Zarin recently underwent breast reduction surgery. If you're lucky, you'll see the whole procedure go down on a future episode. [P6]

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Woos Paul McCartney With Teenage Fingerpainting

Kyle Buchanan · 01/14/09 03:41PM

Though Elisabeth Hasselbeck claims she was a designer in her pre-View life, she's best remembered as a considerably less loathsome Survivor contestant. Today, guest Paul McCartney inspired Hasselbeck to finally share her "art" with us.
