Last night's episode of Glee was titled "Comeback" so I hoped it would continue the return to creative form that started with the Valentine's Day episode. What came back, however, were the nonsensical plots, sloppy character development, and horrible gimmicks—this one involving Justin Bieber.

Last night's Glee was all about rebirth, but, as the students and teachers of McKinley High discover, no comeback is without a price.

After horrendously botching its post-Super Bowl slot, Glee bounced right back and reminded us why we love it in the first place. And the show did it with the most sentimental and saccharine weapon in the TV arsenal: a Valentine's Day episode.

Last night's episode of Glee, entitled "Silly Love Songs" was all about that finicky organ known as the human heart. Yes, Valentine's Day has come to McKinley High and the Gleeks are finding themselves falling in and out of love quicker than Sue Sylvester fires insults.
