This Jason Sudeikis Sketch Was Cut From SNL, Good Enough for Late Night

Jay Hathaway · 11/26/14 04:10PM

On the latest episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers, the 131-part television documentary about Seth Meyers' time at Saturday Night Live, guy who makes that face Jason Sudeikis got a chance to see his favorite old, unproduced SNL sketch finally make it to air.

Gabrielle Bluestone · 07/25/13 12:15AM

Jason Sudeikis announced tonight on Letterman that he's leaving SNL. He's the third male cast member to leave the show since last season, following Bill Hader and Fred Armisen. Seth Meyers, set to replace Jimmy Fallon when he jumps to the helm of the "Tonight Show," will also leave sometime over the next season.

Jason Sudeikis Still Doesn't Know Whether He Will Return to SNL

Maggie Lange · 05/24/13 11:50AM

When asked on hardball investigative show the View whether he would return to Saturday Night Live in the fall, Jason Sudeikis tried to evade the question. Eventually he cracked under all the pressure and answered that he has no idea whether he will return to play the show's resident normal Dad, Devil, Joe Biden, A-Hole, overzealous backup dancer, or DJ Supersoak. But it sounds like he's got lots of other options.

Caity Weaver · 09/12/12 09:23AM

Jason Sudeikis IS returning to SNL. His odd, blank reaction to Kristen Wiig's emotional send-off left everyone unsure.

Watch Alec Baldwin Play a Bumbling Rick Perry on SNL

Matt Cherette · 09/25/11 01:52AM

Saturday Night Live opened its 37th season tonight with a parody of Thursday's Fox News/Google Republican presidential debate. Despite being too long and wrought with cliche—Newt Gingrich has a huge head! Michele Bachmann's eyes are crazy!—the sketch managed to work thanks to Bill Hader as debate moderator Shep Smith and Alec Baldwin as the same confused, babbling version of Rick Perry that showed up to the real thing. A video of highlights is above; the full sketch is viewable here.

Jennifer Lopez's Weird Date with Bradley Cooper

Maureen O'Connor · 09/12/11 10:28AM

J.Lo's love life takes a turn for the strange. (Or PR-planted.) Lindsay Lohan causes a fashion week near-riot. Clooney goes public with his female wrestler girlfriend. Terrence Howard's murderous voice message. Monday gossip manipulates the public.

A Good Old Fashioned Orgy: The Last Sex Party

Richard Lawson · 07/22/11 09:45AM

Here's a trailer for the comedy A Good Old Fashioned Orgy, a movie about a very sexy Labor Day party. Well, it's not sexy, is the point, it's a bunch of regular old weirdos having an orgy.

Jason Sudeikis Is Not a Belieber

Matt Cherette · 06/03/11 02:18AM

Back in February—when he wasn't cozying up courtside to Rihanna—Justin Bieber participated in the NBA's Celebrity All-Star Game. It seems like SNL's Jason Sudeikis wasn't impressed with Bieber's skills considering he had this to say about his teen opponent on tonight's Jimmy Kimmel Live!: "I didn't even know it was him for the first two quarters, I thought it was a Make-A-Wish situation." Horrible Bosses: Horrible Is Right

Richard Lawson · 05/12/11 01:16PM

Here's a trailer for Horrible Bosses, the new star-studded comedy about a trio of unhappy dudes who decide to kill their, well, horrible bosses. The cast is great (Charlie Day! Colin Farrell! Aniston!) and the concept is fun, so why does it look so... dull?

The Underwear Model Who Became Levi Johnston

Richard Lawson · 04/27/11 05:01PM

Or rather will become. The role of Levi has been cast, and the actor who will play him, like Levi, enjoys taking his clothes off for money. Also today: Superman casting, Piranha casting, and movie awards hosting news.

Watch Jim Carrey's SNL Promos with Jason Sudeikis

Matt Toder · 01/05/11 12:08PM

Jim Carrey is hosting SNL this weekend, not quite sure why. Maybe it has something to do with I Love You Philip Morris. Anyway, here are the episode's promos, which promise funny faces, wacky sounds and a beguiled audience. Indeed.
