A fried chicken restaurant called Hitler has incurred the furor of KFC's parent company Yum! Brands over the use of its trademarked logo with the Nazi leader head placed atop the Colonel's body.

Facebook photos of a KFC employee in Tennessee making out with what appears to be a tub of mashed potatoes molded in the shape of a boob were recently brought to the attention of local CBS affiliate WJHL, which subsequently launched an investigation into their origin.

The man who's bringing KFC to Ghana is a "plastics-mogul-turned-restaurateur." Sounds about right.

A British teen was enjoying a "Gladiator box meal" at his local KFC when he suddenly stumbled onto something he didn't order.

Okay, so this is technically a parody ad produced by Funny or Die. But it still stars John Goodman as a maybe-gay, definitely-creepy Colonel who extols the virtues of picking KFC over Chick-fil-A (they're open on Sundays!).

KFC has quite literally topped itself in the dumb sandwich department with the introduction of its latest napkin industry tie-in, the Cheese Top Burger.

KFC announced this week it will make a never-before-seen autobiography and cookbook written by Colonel Sanders available for download on its Facebook page starting June 4th. Interestingly, as Smithsonian Magazine’s Food & Think blog noted last month, there was pretty much nothing Colonel Sanders hated more than Kentucky Fried Chicken.

The bigwigs at KFC recently discovered a long-lost manuscript by Colonel Sanders, the highest-ranking military man in the fast food universe. It's his life story stitched together with his favorite recipes for things like pies, casseroles, sauces, and just about everything else. And it's going to be available for free on the internet!

KFC made headlines last year with the "Double Down," which was like a grilled cheese, except with fried chicken instead of bread. Oh, and bacon. But that was 2010! The fast food chain's latest heart attack-ready meal? The "Cheesy Bacon Bowl," which improves upon the existing mush of fried chicken, cheese, corn, and mashed potatoes with gravy known as the "Famous Bowl," and adds a bunch of bacon. Remember the KFC Double Down? Sure you do. It was that terrible and probably delicious monstrosity that replaced bread with fried chicken and your arteries with chaos. Well, welcome to 2011, where the Double Down is a thing of the past. Denny's has launched their new, "Let's Get Cheesy" menu, and nary a calorie was spared. Eight of the nine items on the menu have more calories than the Double Down and all can be ordered with "extra ooze." Two oozes on the side, please.

We love the FBI's new document-sharing website, "The Vault"! Without it, we might never know that a corrupt cop may have killed the Notorious B.I.G. Or that a mysterious "general" warned KFC's Colonel Sanders of a murder plot!

Having conquered all of America—from Oprah fans to coed buttocks—chicken byproduct purveyor KFC now has plans to double the number of stores it has in Africa over the next three years. Ohhh, in Africa, huh?

Last night's episode of Community experimented with product placement by writing an entire script around a sponsor. KFC was that sponsor, which might have been difficult to advertise—had they not created a flight simulator fueled by the Colonel.

What sort of college woman would turn her body into a walking KFC advertisement by accepting $500 to wear sweatpants with "Double Down" emblazoned on the buttocks? An empowered one!

Today is Colonel Sanders' 120th birthday and he celebrated by making an appearance in the Early Show audience. He later stopped by to check out the Double Down sandwich and promptly went back to being dead.

Proto-fauxhemian clothier Urban Outfitters is messing with young girls minds by selling a T-shirt that says "Eat Less." It probably doesn't come larger than size 12. Sadly, this will not keep one fatty from eating 10 Double Downs at once.

KFC knows how to do three things: 1. Get lots of PR for its terrifying chicken-byproduct products; 2. Lose money; and 3. Make comical "branding" statements, while doing items one and two. Wait'll you catch the new tagline!
