If you watched tonight's MTV Movie Awards, then you saw a whole lot of the Twilight cast. If you didn't tune in, then you probably don't know that—in a span of minutes—Robert Pattinson both ditched Kristen Stewart on stage to plant a big ol' kiss on Taylor Lautner in the audience, and said "But I did f*ck you" to Reese Witherspoon during a tribute award presentation (the F-bomb was missed by MTV censors). The sequel to 2009's big sleeper hit comedy The Hangover opened yesterday in early anticipation of the holiday weekend and it is big. Its $31 million opening day is the largest single-day earning for an R-rated comedy ever, and third highest-grossing Thursday opening on record. So basically get ready for The Hangover III: Tijuana Nights. [EW]

Here's a trailer for The Whistleblower, a true-life drama about Kathryn Bolkovac, the Nebraska cop turned United Nations police officer who, while hired by UN contractor DynCorp, alerted authorities to sex trafficking within the force.

Here's a trailer for I Don't Know How She Does It, which comes out this fall. The "she" is Sarah Jessica Parker, and the "it" is, well, to be a carbon copy of Sex and the City's Miranda. Except instead of a lawyer, Parker plays a banker, and instead of being married to a dopey guy named Steve, she's married to a dopey guy named Greg Kinnear. Kelsey Grammer also appears in the movie, along with Pierce Brosnan, who plays a prospective Mr. Big for Parker—if she was playing Carrie, that is, which she isn't, because she's playing Miranda. Here's a trailer for The Descendants, a new seriocomedy from Sideways, Election, and About Schmidt (listed from great to greatest) director Alexander Payne. It's a Hawaii-set tale of a man who discovers that his coma-stricken wife was having an affair.

Here's a trailer for Shark Night 3D, which is a movie about a shark, that was filmed in 3D. I'm not really sure what part is the "night" part, but there's definitely a shark, that lives in a lake.

If you saw Bridesmaids you probably thought it was hysterical. Well, just think of how much funnier it could have been if they'd included Jon Hamm's dirty sex positions, the descriptions of nasty smells, or the funny lines coming out of a little boy's mouth. Just the rapid fire succession of all these outtakes will make your mind boggle. And you'll probably laugh once or twice, too.

Well, well, well. It seems Sarah Palin is delving into the motion picture business! And her first, but hopefully not last, production will be about an Alaskan governor who quit her job halfway through her first term to make money. Behold The Undefeated, Palin's top secret film project that will debut in Iowa next month.

A federal judge has denied tattoo artist S. Victor Whitmill's request for an injunction barring The Hangover 2 from opening because the studio didn't ask him for the rights to use Mike Tyson's face tattoo, which Whitmill designed and copyrighted. He still has a "strong likelihood of success" in eventually winning his case, though, according to the judge.

Two crew members on the set of Peter Jackson's much-delayed production of The Hobbit were treated at the hospital yesterday after an explosion inside a New Zealand workshop. Apparently the two were "drilling a statue" when the accident occurred. It's good to hear that they're both doing well, but the last thing this movie needs is something else that will keep it from getting to theaters. [Image via AP]

This weekend saw the continuing domination of one star and the crowning of a new one. That crown might have been taken from Paul Bettany, who didn't have such a great weekend.
