Here is a video of Ted Cruz, the debate team goon who wants to be your next president, agreeing that Barack Obama might possibly be planning to invade the American Southwest under the auspices of “Jade Helm 15,” an Army training exercise.

The remark, Bloomberg reports, came during a GOP reception in South Carolina:

I understand a lot of the concerns raised by a lot of citizens about Jade Helm. It’s a question I’m getting a lot, and I think part of the reason is we have seen, for six years, a federal government disrespecting the liberty of the citizens. And that produces fear, when you see a federal government that is attacking our free speech rights, or religious liberty rights, or Second Amendment rights, that produces distrust...”

That’s crazy! This is crazy! It’s crazy to take this seriously! You’ve all gotta stop! A responsible answer to the What do you think about Jade Helm? question that Cruz and other right wing candidates will apparently face throughout this year is “I don’t think anyone needs to worry about an Army training exercise—instead let’s worry about the economy, or literally anything else.” Instead, Cruz has placed himself in the intellectual company of Chuck Norris.
