There has been a lot of smack-talk about the lack of physical affection between Cam and Mitchell during Modern Family's first season. But tonight's episode addressed the controversy and put an end to it by finally sealing the deal.

Throughout the episode, we find out that Mitchell is allergic to PDAs. Cam, on the other hand, is a big fan, and is understandably peeved when Mitch won't reciprocate a little bit of affection in public. Later, we find out that Mitch's prudish behavior stems from the fact that Jay never hugged them or "showed them the lovey dovey," as Gloria would say. Gloria, being the brash voice of reason, pressures Jay to kiss his son, which causes a chain reaction of adorable public displays of affection that just makes you want to go "Awwwwww!"
