Rich Idiot Thinks He Deserves $2 Million for This 'Anti-Semitic' Picture
Washington Redskins owner and despicable rich guy Dan Snyder has, in typical dumb fashion, followed through on his threat to sue the Washington City Paper, for being mean to him. He also says they are anti-Semitic. What a stupid idiot.
The WCP has posted Snyder's lawsuit, which really can be summed up as "This very accurate and cutting story about me by Dave McKenna made me cry." Snyder is suing for $2 million, but his attorneys essentially admitted that all they really want to do is intimidate the paper's parent company with threats of long, expensive litigation:
"Mr. Snyder has more than sufficient means to protect his reputation," said the Nov. 24 letter, which was written by David Donovan, the Redskins' chief operating officer and general counsel, and posted on City Paper's Web site Wednesday afternoon. "We presume that defending such litigation would not be a rational strategy for an investment fund such as yours. Indeed, the cost of litigation would presumably quickly outstrip the asset value of the Washington City Paper."
Haha, what a low-down bastard. Snyder's highly-paid team of bloodsuckers still has yet to demonstrate that anything in McKenna's story is false. Here is the part where Snyder's functionaries comically argue that drawing him with devil horns and a mustache is some kind of Nazi thing:
Here is the WCP's official response to the charges of anti-Semitism, which notes "many of us are Jewish, including staffers who edited the story and designed the cover." We'd also add: shut the fuck up Dan Snyder, you own the most sickeningly racist relic of a brand in all of professional sports. How do you even sleep at night, you whore?
