Bean Sprouts Acquitted in Deadly E. Coli Outbreak
Just shortly after declaring bean sprouts from an organic farm in Germany the cause of an E. coli outbreak in Europe that has killed 22 and sickened thousands, health officials have now backpedaled.
Apparently a majority of samples of sprouts came back clear of the bacteria. Now that cucumbers, lettuce, and tomatoes have been let off the hook, the real killer is still on the loose. I bet it is peppers. They always did look really shifty.
