Tonight, Cameron Diaz took over most of the Late Show to chat with David Letterman and promote her raunchy new movie, Bad Teacher. And with 25 minutes for Diaz and Letterman to waste together, it was pretty much a given that there would be some awkward moments.

Diaz's entrance was immediately marred by the fact that she accidentally stabbed Letterman in the foot with her heel. Afterward, Letterman peppered her with questions about her boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez, before randomly displaying the infamous picture of her feeding A-Rod popcorn during the Super Bowl, which she then tried to explain. To top it all off, Letterman and Diaz then attempted a reenactment of the aforementioned force feeding to predictably uncomfortable results. Awkward? Probably. Entertaining? Definitely.
