In a sleepy Austrian hamlet today, a hulking superhuman lovingly caressed the buttock of a grotesquely muscled 8-foot-tall bronze state of himself.

That's right, Arnold Schwarzenegger today opened the Arnold Schwarzenegger Museum of Thal, Austria, built in the village home where Arnold was born.

Lest he miss the cold, metallic touch of his supersized self, Arnold plans to install replicas of his bronze statue in his mansion in California and in the town that hosts his annual bodybuilding competition.

Prediction: Bronze Arnolds not in Arnold's home become magnets for inappropriately sexual photo ops. Actually, knowing Arnold, that might happen to the one in his home, too. [AP, images via Bauer-Griffin]
