The best part of any internet news story is when the social media power user and sometime Gawker contributor Katie Notopoulos starts searching for it on Twitter. Like the SOPA-driven Wikipedia blackout, which sure freaked out high school kids—and their teachers.

Katie is still collecting the best of the Great Twitter Wikipedia Freakout, as is the one-joke Twitter account @herpderpedia. We also used a bunch of Tweets from @Hermit_Thrush_, who found a bunch of teachers—teachers—whining that they couldn't do their lessons without Wikipedia.
