cityfile · 08/19/09 07:41AM

The 6,000-square-foot loft at at 30 Crosby Street, which the rocker has been trying to sell on-and-off since 2004, underwent a complete renovation. The price of the brighter, much less somber space hasn't changed, however: It's still up for sale for $14.995 million. [Curbed, Corcoran]

Lenny Lists Miami Mansion

cityfile · 03/27/09 12:40PM

Lenny Kravitz hasn't been able to unload his Crosby Street condo despite numerous efforts over the past few years to find a buyer. For Lenny's sake, let's hope his real estate curse is just a local phenomenon and doesn't have wings. The rocker put his Miami Beach mansion on the market this week. The 5,717-square-foot spread, which he bought for $725,000 in 1996, is currently listed for $2.85 million. No word on any package deals, unfortunately, but there's no harm in asking. • Lenny Kravitz has been trying to sell his penthouse at 30 Crosby Street for the past few years; most recently, he slashed the price of the loft from $18.75 million to $14.995 million. Is he now planning to give up entirely? Over the weekend, the listing for Kravitz's 6,000-square-foot pad (which used to be located here) was pulled down from the Corcoran website, although whether the rocker plans to try again with a new broker is anybody's guess. Richard Gere and wife Carey Lowell aren't just trying to unload their apartment at Palazzo Chupi. They're looking to sell their farmhouse in Water Mill, too. The 1.2 acre estate, which includes a guesthouse, art studio, and pool, is currently listed at $8.8 million. [NYM]

Lenny Kravitz Cuts the Price of His Soho Loft

cityfile · 10/17/08 12:26PM

Lenny Kravitz's 6,000-square-foot penthouse at 30 Crosby Street has been languishing on the market for more than a year now. But it looks like Kravitz's resolve is melting ever so slightly: The price of the loft was just lowered from $19.5 million to $18.75 million. This isn't the first time Kravitz's longtime broker, Corcoran's Andrea Wohl Lucas, has toyed with the price of the lavish spread that's been home to Nicole Kidman and Denzel Washington in the past: After picking up the apartment in 2001 for $8.5 million, Kravitz put it on the market for $13.25 million in 2004, then dropped the price to $12.95 million later that year before finally pulling it off the market altogether in 2006. Kravitz then spent 18 months renovating the place (and addressing his longstanding plumbing issues) before putting it back on the market in the spring of 2007 with a $19.5 million price tag. Now it seems Kravitz is willing to cut prospective buyers a 750K break. How generous! A few photos of the newly-discounted pad after the jump.
