Elton John had a sour puss on all night at the Golden Globes, but it got even worse when Madonna's shitty "Masterpiece" won for Best Original Song over some crappy ballad Elton wrote for Gnomeo and Juliet. Then his husband started talking shit about Madonna on Facebook.

Looks like Elton and his husband, David Furnish, were not feeling the love last night, especially for Madonna. Furnish took to his Facebook page and said, "Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it's narcissism. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is." It's official, the gays have chosen Lady Gaga over Lady One-Glove.

Apparently John was already talking shit about Madonna on the red carpet before the awards started. Madonna, smartly, isn't trying to return barbs. "He's known to get mad at me, [but] he'll win another award. I don't feel bad," she said right after her win. Yes, just based on the expression on his face the press knew to ask about their on-going feud.

Their rivalry started back in 2004 when at the Q Awards—which is some sort of European thing we don't care about like soccer and stability in Greece—when Elton John used his acceptance speech to make fun of Madge for lip synching at her concerts. God, why can't these two aging divas with British accents get along? Did Elton really think he was going to win an award for Gnomeo & Juliet? Queen, please.
