Six weeks after he pleaded guilty to charges of false imprisonment and battery, former San Diego mayor Bob Filner was sentenced today to three years of probation and 90 days of home confinement.

Former San Diego mayor Bob Filner pleaded guilty Tuesday morning to three criminal charges related to the sexual harassment allegations that led to his resignation two months ago. Filner admitted committing one felony count of false imprisonment “by violence, fraud, menace, and deceit” and two counts of misdemeanor battery.

Now that Bob "Don't Wear Underwear" Filner has stepped down as San Diego's mayor, something had to fill the political sexytime void — at least this time it's more of a victimless crime.

NBC San Diego is reporting that Mayor Bob Filner, (alleged) serial sexual harasser, will resign tomorrow.

San Diego Mayor Bob Filner, who has been accused of sexual harassment by 18 women, including a great-grandmother and a disabled Iraq war veteran's nurse, reached a settlement with city leaders on Wednesday. The deal will remain confidential until Friday, when it will be presented to the San Diego City Council.
