Astronomers have discovered a supernova that shines brighter than any other in the observable universe.

Richard Dunn, the man who just became internet famous for making a music video for Celine Dion's "All By Myself" while stuck in the Las Vegas airport, has caught the attention of someone else who's trapped in Vegas: Celine Dion.
Goofball with a golden voice Celine Dion (pictured above kissing an inanimate deer) probably doesn't believe that Miss Piggy is a real person, but she might! Dion is playing it extremely straight in the the press she's been doing for her cameo in Muppets Most Wanted. The pride and joy of Quebec said that her time on the movie's set was "beyond the honor" and marveled at "how alive they are" (meaning the Muppets, which are puppets):
Clown chanteuse Celine Dion recently appeared on the Canadian show Le Banquie (which her site describes as "a Quebec version of American game show Deal Or No Deal"), where she was treated to watching footage of herself rehearsing a song in a bathroom. And I do mean treated: In an oversized reaction, she turns hysterical while herself be her normal weird self. I want to see footage of her reacting to her reactions, and then footage of her reacting to that. I wonder how many it would take her to cease breathing from the exponential hilarity. Something tells me not very many at all.
Celine Dion sat on Jimmy Kimmel's couch for two (two!) whole segments last night (and then later performed her new single). She wasn't as goofy as one might expect, though sometimes hilarious regardless — Kimmel pointed out that the titular command of her new song "Love Me Back to Life" is technically impossible to pull off, but Dion vehemently disagreed, citing the scenario of a bunch of people praying around a hospital bed while someone was in a coma as an example of loving someone back to life. For Celine, all drama is melodrama. Life is but a soap opera.
Celine Dion is now on Twitter. Now let's see just how amazing she really is.
Don't get too excited — this is a mash-up of footage from a concert in which Celine Dion did her best Limber Louie impression to a cover of the Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive," with the audio swapped out for "Get Lucky." But the synching is flawless. And those moves!
And, as she revealed on today's episode of Katie, she's fine with that.
Céline Dion started a new leg of her latest Las Vegas residency show last weekend and her setlist included a cover of Adele's ubiquitous "Rolling in the Deep," which you can hear above.
Early yesterday morning—just hours after she was forced to release her new single early due to a leak—Lady Gaga tweeted an image of the cover art for her upcoming album, Born This Way.
Today's Oprah Winfrey Show features Celine Dion (with her record-breaking 27th appearance on the program!). While giving a tour of her home—and showing off her new twin boys—Dion acted predictably eccentric and even barked like a dog.
Kim Kardashian celebrates her 30th birthday by making a video of herself getting frothed in the face. Nicki Minaj "doesn't do" escalators. Charlie Sheen throws a party. A vengeful flight attendant plays a "wire hangers" prank on Faye Dunaway. Monday gossip's cup overfloweth.
Today is the 30th anniversary of John Lennon's assassination. Today is also the day that Celine Dion appeared on Larry King Live, and—during a discussion about Lennon—decided to belt out a verse of "Imagine." How spontaneous! Watch inside.
Sometimes, sign language interpretations of songs—like the Black Eyed Pea's "My Humps"—are silly. Sometimes, they're good. And sometimes, they're absolutely fantastic—this interpretation of Celine Dion's "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" represents one of those times.
At this point, it's pretty much come to be expected that when Will Ferrell pops into the Late Show, he'll stick around for a surprise musical performance (like this one.) That fact doesn't make this video any less funny.
