Street Beggar Seeks Funding for His iPhone Startup
A guy with a sign is begging Wall Street passersby to fund his iPhone app. He just needs $250,000. And with venture capitalists putting $10 million into a grilled cheese sandwich, is that really asking too much?
The unnamed fellow, photographed in jeans and a t-shirt, promised on his sign that the idea would net $10 million a year for his investor (he only wants one). So a Dealbreaker reader called him up and heard him out. The secret plan: An iPhone app to help people sell their New York City parking spots. Sadly, that has already been built, albeit not on an iPhone. Tough break. Still, it's probably worth running this past Ashton Kutcher, or at least the grilled cheese guys. [Dealbreaker]
