This year's Golden Globes ceremony has ended, but that doesn't mean we have to stop talking about it! From Ricky Gervais' controversial turn as host, to Jane Fonda's nip slip—and much more!—here are the show's most memorable moments.

1) Starting Off with a Bang

Host Ricky Gervais began tonight's broadcast with a biting—and immediately controversial—monologue, which targeted stars like Charlie Sheen, Angelina Jolie, Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and more. 2) Four for You, Chris Colfer! You Go, Chris Colfer!

After Glee's Chris Colfer won the award for Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries or Movie, he took to the stage and gave an emotional speech meant to inspire teens who face bullying. And the award for best acceptance speech at tonight's Golden Globes goes to... Chris Colfer! The openly gay Glee star, who won the Supporting Actor award, dedicated it to teens who face bullying because of who they are. Watch inside.

3) Is Tom Hanks a Sore Loser?

Carlos surprised many when it won the Golden Globe for Miniseries or TV Movie over favorite The Pacific, which boasts Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg as producers. When the camera cut to Hanks after the announcement, he appeared to be venting to his wife and exclaiming, "What the fuck is that?" Update: As many commenters have pointed out, it seems as though Hanks was actually saying, "It's absolutely fantastic," and not, "What the fuck is that?" So, that would make him the opposite of a sore loser. Oops! Sorry about that, Mr. Hanks...

4) Robert Downey Jr. vs. Ricky Gervais / Women RDJ Wants to Sleep With

After Gervais poked fun at Robert Downey Jr.'s former drug problems while introducing him, Downey shot back by saying, "Aside from the fact that it's been hugely mean-spirited with mildly sinister undertones, I'd say the vibe of the show is pretty good so far." Then, he tried to seduce all of the nominees for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy.

5) Jane Fonda Lets It All Hang Out

7) Robert De Niro Is Like Your Drunk Uncle

After Matt Damon introduced him with a reel of some of his finest work (like Little Fockers, obviously) and presented him with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement, Robert De Niro took the opportunity to ramble like Uncle Jerry on Thanksgiving. Veteran actor Robert De Niro received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement at tonight's Golden Globes. It was quite. His awkward, rambling, try-hard acceptance speech—during which he made several off-color jokes, like a drunk uncle—was not.

8) The Tamed Return of Gervais / Making an Enemy of Tim Allen

Curiously, following Gervais' controversial monologue—and subsequent jabs at many of the presenters he was tasked with introducing—he disappeared from the broadcast at 9:35 PM ET and didn't return until more than an hour later, at 10:40 PM ET, when he introduced presenters Tim Allen and Tom Hanks. Also curiously, Gervais seemed more tamed than he'd been before his disappearance (undoubtedly carried out by either the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, NBC, or the Church of Scientology), though he did manage to make an enemy of Tim Allen with a sharp devaluation of his work. 9) A Standing Ovation for Michael Douglas

Recently cancer-free Michael Douglas presented the final award of the night (for Motion Picture, Drama). He received a heartwarming standing ovation, to which he replied, "There's just gotta be an easier way to get a standing ovation!" Watch below.

10) Not Even God Cares About Ricky Gervais' Sign-Off

The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards ended with a sign-off by Gervais, which ended with the words, "And thank you to God for making me an atheist." Unsurprisingly—given the bridges he'd burned throughout the previous three hours—the audience didn't even pay attention to him. Watch below.
